ZDT Entertainment Network is an apprentice training program, designed to find, train, and develop aspiring individuals in the fields of film, radio, TV, and music recording.

We take people who want to enter those fields (you!) and match them with mentors: working industry professionals who train them on the job.

How Do You Do It?

Our unique mentor/apprentice relationships places you directly into a studio or station in your local community. An appointed member of that station or studio's staff trains you on a one-to-one basis. You receive guidance from inside the industry, getting maximum exposure on location with an actual, working, industry professional.

Does It Really Work?

Over the past 20 years, over 90% of our apprentices have gone on to paid positions in the entertainment industry. In fact, many are hired before their training is completed!

Why Is It So Effective?

Hundreds of thousands of people are dying to get into the biz. On the other side, film studios, radio and TV stations, and recording studios, are hungry for qualified applicants to work for them. The problem for the industry pros is: how do they find the ones who are qualified?

Think about it from their point of view. If you wanted to find someone to work for you, would you rather sort through maybe hundreds of people, or would you prefer to have a qualified applicant hand-picked and presented to you? Talk about a "no brainer"!

In addition, we pay the mentors for their time and effort. For them, it's a win-win situation.

What Do I Need?

You don't need experience, but you do need the qualities that employers look for, or what we call the four D's: Drive, Desire, Dedication, and Determination.
